Beetroot, Blueberry, Strawberry, Red grapes and Chia Smoothie


  • 150g fresh red grapes, washed (can be frozen)

  • 150g fresh bluberry (can be frozen), washed

  • 150g fresh strawberry (can be frozen), washed

  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice

  • 1 medium beetroot, washed, peeled and cut into peaces of 6 or 8

  • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds

Optional: 1 tablespoon coconut flour for extra fibre and protein


Add all ingredients to a blender as you see above, start with the red grapes. Blend it for 2-3 minutes or until smooth.

It can be a bit tricky if you use frozen berries, because they need some liquid to get moving in your blender, for this reason load in the red grapes first and thereafter the rest.

If you have a “pulse mode” on your blender, I recommend using that to get it started. Then, blend consistently until smooth.


The berries can be replaced with rasberries, blackberries or cherries and pomegranate
